    COUNT ISERROR (2003)

    Evening all,

    Apologies, I have my stupid head on tonight!! I have #N/A outputs in column I from a VLOOKUP. I want to count the #N/A's.

    I tried =COUNTIF(I:I,ISERROR), but this results in zero. Any idea's??

    Many Thanks

    Nath

    Re: COUNT ISERROR (2003)

    If the only error values are #N/A, you can use this simple formula:
    <code>
    =COUNTIF(I:I,#N/A)
    </code>
    If there could be other error values as well, such as #REF, #VALUE etc., you can add several COUNTIFs together, or use
    <code>
    =SUMPRODUCT(1*ISERROR(I1:I1000))
    </code>
    (SUMPRODUCT doesn't play nicely with specifying an entire column, so I chose I1:I1000, you can adjust this as needed)
