Lost Sent files in OE6 (OE6 with WXP)

OE suddenly said 'Sent' file full & OE wouldn't open - seconds later it did open, but the Sent file was empty, & all our precious copies had vanished.

Anyone know if there's a back-up file lurking somewhere there in WXP, with all our Sent copies on - perrrleeeeease? (I do, do hope so)

    Many thanks

If they aren't in the "Deleted Items" folder or the Recycle Bin, I think you are out of luck?
Maybe someone else has a different take on this but........

(Edited by HansV to make URLs clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

They certainly did.....we put problem on Microsoft OE Community site, and had comprehensive response from an MS MVP pointing us to http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx as well as http://www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx ........having followed some very lengthy & complex instructions, we DID RETRIEVE THE LOST COPIES! Hurray!

They turned out to be buried deep in the system.....seems this is a known problem, albeit with a pretty complicated solution.
