    margins, headings, bullet points (2003)

I want the left hand margin of a multi line heading to line up, without the first line 'out-denting' as if it were a bullet point. I can set the margins, but they apply to the whole text box, not just the paragraph, like it would in word. I want to set margins separatley for paragraphs of text and for bullet points. The attached screen shot may help you see what I mean. Can anyone help with this? Thanks Frank

Ruler settings don't apply to individual paragraphs in PowerPoint, but to outline levels.

You could edit the slide master, and make the first level non-bulleted and non-indented, then make the second level look like the first level originally did.
(Tip: if you hold down Ctrl, you can drag the markers on the ruler wherever you want)

Thanks Hans, that looks like the best way to do it.
