    Covered Print (I.E. 7 Pro)

Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Causing exactly what ??? I can see that the graphic is covering text, but is it a popup or part of the site design ??? A screenshot of a larger area of desktop might help.

    Bad coding.

Can you give a link to the page/site in question to allow someone to check out the HTML?

Are you viewing in full screen mode? If using a smaller window than the page was designed for, it may cause an overlap.

The graphic covering the text. Here is a larger screen capture. This is not a pop up and seems to only happen on MSNBC.com

As Leif says, it's bad coding by NBC Sports. It looks much better in FireFox 2, but even there the boxes are placed awkwardly.

I'd guess at 'bad'coding. Below is the same page in Firefox - the 'Offseason Report' seems in the right place, but another graphic lower left has over-lapped some text.

And even in FF2 you appear to get different image placing!

Apparently, the web page doesn't handle changes in window size well, hence the differences we see.

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!
