Firefox / Netscape

I have used Netscape for many years, and am currently using version 8. I almost went to v.9, but after installing it and trying to find where to set up the profiles like in v8, I gave up and went back to v8. Now comes the demise of support for Netscape (March 1) and I don't want to have unsupported software on my computer. In looking at Firefox, I noted some striking similarities to I.E. 7 Pro, which is my main browser. I am pleased with that. I read through the Firefox web site and will probably install this afternoon.
My question to you Firefox users, is: "Is there a place to set up user profiles?" In Netscape I have two profiles: Me, and Everyone Else. That is what I am looking for.

Yup that does help, however I don't see anything in there about password protecting profiles. Can that be done, again like in Netscape?

Password protecting profiles is not a built in feature. For options see Protecting the contents of the profile - browser - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

Problem Solved!! I downloaded and installed Firefox Portable on my WD flash drive and VOILA! it works, so now I can have my firefox and browse too! <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>
