    No Pictures (IE 7.0.5730.13 Pro)

I'm having a problem seeing pictures on the Comcast.net web page, but I can see the ads. I called Comcast and he tried it on his machine and the pictures appeared. He said that it was an Internet Explorer problem. I do have Show Pictures selected in Internet Options.

I have signed out and signed back in, but the problem remains.

Please suggest something that will make the pictures reappear like they were yesterday.

    Gloria,

Is Comcast the only site that you have the problem with?

That was the best solution the Comcast guy had?

Have you changed or added anything recently?

    Did you try System Restore?

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

Re: No Pictures (IE 7.0.5730.13 Pro)

Please forgive my late reply, since I don't get the digest I have to remember to come here directly to check on replies.

Comcast, using IE 7 Pro, is the only site where the problem appears. Using Firefox, Comcast pictures load correctly.
Since the pictures loaded on the tech's computer, that was as far as he would go. I'm inclined to agree that the source is IE.
I did install Zone Alarm Pro and I think it was the same day the Comcast page had a problem.

No, I did not try System Restore, that seems rather drastic just to get one page to show pictures, don't you think?

    I do NOT use ZA Pro just the <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> one.
BUT you may have a setting in ZA or some other "Protection" software that you clicked and "Blocked" the images for that site.

There is a lot of "java script" running, have you blocked the running of java script in IE?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Thanks Jezza, that seems to be just what I needed to see. I will follow the directions and see if it solves my issue. By the way, I removed ZA Pro and some of the pictures appeared, not all mind you, just some.

I reached Method 4 following the directions from the link you provided. Guess what? I now have pictures available on Comcast.net.
Thank you so much for the link, my problem's no longer a problem and I pray it stays that way.
