    XML / VBA (Word 2003)

I need to write an XML file using VBA. I'm familiar with the requirements of an XML file. Is it sufficient to Open and Print to a file as I would do if I were creating an ordinary text file or a CSV file? May I / must I give the file an XML extension?

    Thanks.

Yes, XML files are plain text. Anything other than plain text has to be encoded. I'm not sure why you would want it to have any extension other than .xml...
