    update query (access 2000)

    How can i build a query where all the rows having -. for example -1, or -2 etc, to be set to o ?

    Initially build a query that selects the records you are interested in. When you are happy that it is correct, with the query open in Design view, go to the Menus and choose..
    Query...Update

    This will add a new line to the Grid...Update To. On that line, in the relevant field, put 0.

    Then to run the query , go to Query...Run.

    But be careful. The moment you do it, it will happen. If the design is wrong it will do the wrong thing.

    Thank you for the reply. I need a query that automatically finds and updates all the entries having a result < 0, correcting them to be 0
