Finding Distribution List Name Using To field (Outlook Web Access)

    1. Create a Distribution List in Outlook which is stored in my Contact Folder
    2. I open a New blank message form
    3. Select the To... button
    4. Find names in: field I select the drop-down arrow and select Contacts

Question: I think I called my Distribution list Buffalo but I forgot how I spelled it. What field (Like Last name, First name, etc.) could I type the letter B and click on the Find button and have the DL show up??

Not sure if this works for DL's like it works for Names in Contact folder?

    Thanks in advance.

You should be able to type the letter "B" or 'b' and have the d/l be displayed.

Why not just open your contacts folder and browse them and see if you can see it?

Are you sure that your did save it, if NOT you will never find it?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

If you 'press' "TO" you should get a form that opens with a search box at the top. Enter your search term there.

We are talking Outlook Web Access Premium client (available only using IE Browser), correct? In OWA 2003, click Find names in: field, select the drop-down arrow and select Contacts, then enter the name in Display Name, and then click Find - see graphic. In a brief test I found that this function needs the beginning letters of the Contact or Distribution List - if I used "Usual" to find my distlist called "The Usual Suspects", it failed, I had to use "The" to find it.
