trace operation on server NT (6.0)

is a way to see which users completed which operations on the server.
Some users it appears have deleted files on the servers and you want to find out who they were or what happened to the files.
In VB or VBA is possible to trace event on server?

If the events are logged in the Event Viewer on the server (will depend on your auditing options I think) then you should be able to read them from VBA. Do you know that they are being logged?

You would need to go into Administrative tools on the server and open the Event Viewer and check the logs.

Windows will record this if you use the file auditing feature. If this feature was not turned on, then there probably is no record of who modified or deleted the files.

Apply or modify auditing policy settings for a local file or folder (2003 Server)
