This operation has been canceled (2003 SP2)

Has anyone run across this message? this operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator I had downloaded SP3 a while back but was having some issues with it, combo boxes not working in Access, all the labels not printing in Access, so I uninstalled SP3 and re-installed SP2. Now I am getting this message anytime I click on a hyperlink in any of the office programs. The suggestions I found on Microsoft Support seem to all deal with IE6, I have IE7.

Any suggestions?

Although it's IE7, have you tried
- Select Tools | Internet Options...
- Activate the Advanced tab.
- Click Reset...
- Click Reset in the dialog that appears to confirm.

On your suggestion, I tried that, didn't work.

Try reinstalling Office 2003 SP3, then install Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package: December 18, 2007. It fixes the combo box problem. Perhaps hyperlinks will start working again too.

I want to be absolutely sure before I install SP3 again. One thing I just remembered, I installed Spybot Search & Destroy and it seems to have some security settings that I haven't messed with. I might uninstall that and see if that changes anything.

What fixed it is, I went into Add/Remove Programs, Set Program Access and Defaults and set Firefox as default browser and allowed access to IE.
