Insert Author's name in change box (2003)

Whenever I save a file that has tracked changes, whenever I subsequently re-open the file, my name has been replaced by "Author" on any changes I made. Any idea hoe to fix that?
    Thanks.

You have probably ticked the check box "Remove personal information from this file on save" in the Security tab of Tools | Options... If you clear this check box, *new* tracked changes should show your name even after closing and reopening the document.

Thanks, Hans, unfortunately the box was not checked!

Do you have code or an add-in that removes personal information from a document? See if Phil Rabichow's <!post=Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word,197827>Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word<!/post> helps to pinpoint the culprit.
