    Remove Dups (2003)

I have over 500 dup records in my file - I ran a dups query and researched which record of each dup should be deleted (there is no constant in which of each of the two should be deleted). Is there a way to highlight all the records slated for del from the dups query, then do a mass delete? At this point, I am running down the dups query and doing them one by one... tedious.... Thanks!

If there is no pattern to which records you want to delete, you could do the following. I'd make a backup copy first to be on the safe side.
    - Open the table in design view.
    - Add a new field ToDelete of type Yes/No.
    - Close and save the table.
    - Add the ToDelete field to the Find Duplicates query.
    - Open the Find Duplicates query.
    - Tick the check box for each record that you want to delete. You should be able to do this fairly quickly.
    - When you've gone through the entire table, filter it to show only the records in which ToDelete is ticked.
    - Press Ctrl+A to select all records.
    - Press Delete to delete them.
