    ado and text file... (2000)

Possible to import .txt file in sheet via ADO?
If yes, have example to import txt file line by line (not .csv)?
... and have advantage to use ADO innstead other type of import?

See the thread starting at Using ADO with txt files (2003).

If you prefer to use methods built into Excel, you can use the Workbooks.OpenText method to open the text file, then copy the contents into an existing sheet.

But if i am correctly undestand the ini file and txt file to import must reside in same dir, or not?
I can save the schema ini in different dir?

The Schema.ini file must be in the same folder as the text file, otherwise it won't work.
