    Missing Lookup Codes (11.8166.8172 (2003))

What would cause items in my lookup field to disappear? I have attempted to reconstruct several times but they are still not showing up.

I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to. Perhaps the items were deleted from the lookup table?

What is the row source of the combo box?

Are you sure that tblCode contains records?

Could you post a stripped down copy of your database? See <post#=401925>post 401925</post#> for instructions.

yes, there are 486 codes in tblCodes. When I went home and pulled up the copy from my home computer it worked perfectly. I copied it to bring to work this a.m. and the tblCodes again is empty. I renamed the database but I don't think that should affect anything.

There was a problem with combo boxes in Access 2003 SP3. There is a hotfix available from Microsoft, see Description of the Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package: December 18, 2007.

Re: Missing Lookup Codes (11.8166.8172 (2003))

My computer and any applicable software is on a server. When this hotfix was downloaded it only fixed the problem at my computer. When another co-worker attempted to use the database she encountered the same problem (missing lookup table). I was told that the hotfix has to be applied to each individual computer of each person who may access this database.

Is there not a way to install hotfixes to every computer that has access MIcrosoft Access without going to each person's computer who may access this database?

Consult your network administrator - it is possible to distribute an update using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
