Old Version of PUB files (2002/SP3)

I'm not really sure what version I should be putting in. Here's my problem, I have some old Publisher files, dated 1991 but might have been created in 1999. When I try to open them in Pub 2002, I get a message stating - "Publisher cannot open this file. This file was saved from a previous version of Publisher. Publisher no longer supports files that were saved in this version."

Does anyone know of a way to convert these files to the newer format? Thanks for your help.

Re: Old Version of PUB files (2002/SP3)

    Hi Don

I know that there was a security issue in Publisher that would not let some versions of Windows and Publisher live together, hopefully this MSKB may help you

By the way, do you run Norton as I have read that this may conflict with old Publisher files

Asking the questions everbody wants the answers too but feels too stupid to ask themselves :-)
