    remove Symantec AV from Server

    Hi there,
We've just upgraded our virus protection software. We *thought* we had removed Symantec's Anti-Virus completely from our Small Business Server, but it proved that this was not so. We've removed more Symantec related software and one of our technical contractors is removing all the Symantec related keys from the server's registry (hopefully we will not have to do that with the 20 or so client PCs.) Is there anything else we should do? is there a guide to removing Symantec's software from your server? I've spent the past half hour or so looking for information online, but all of it is just for desktops.

That's an excellent link, Hans, and shows just how pervasive Symantec is. Even after following a previous version (I think) a year or two ago, I'm still left with AMS, which won't go away using the Add/Remove function. Fortunately this does not seem to have caused any problems, but given a spare few hours or so I'll go through this article!
