Networking: Wired: Windows XP and Vista

My new home network consists of a new Windows Vista Home Premium PC; a relatively new Windows XP PC; and a Linksys Wireless Broad Band Router, Model WRT54G. The two PCs are connected to the Router with Ethernet cables. Both machines see the Router and the Internet which is feed into the Router from my cable modem [Linksys Model BEFCU10].

However, neither PC sees the other.

What do I need to do so that I can share files and printers between the two PCs?

[Note soon I will be connecting the Windows XP PC to the Router using a Linksys wireless card.]
