    Outlook 2007 Form (2007)

OS is XP Pro sp2. I am trying to open an organizational form from Tools>Forms>Choose Form>Organizational Forms (says it is for the 2007 Outlook client). I receive an error that says "Could not create a MAPI session. You must manually install the CDO.DLL in order to use this form." It then refers ne to the Public Folder help file which directs me to copy the file from the post in the help folder and paste it into the C: program filescommon filessystemmsmapi1033 folder. I did that and then it says I need to register it manually which I tried to do by Start>Run>cmd then going to that folder and typing regsvr32.exe cdo.dll. When I do that I get another error: LoadLibrary("cdo.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found. I've tried everything I can think of and have googled myself silly with no luck. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks, Patti

Did you navigate to the folder where cdo.dll is stored before using regsvr32?

No it isn't - when I check properties of the file on my computer, it shows: Collaboration Data Objects 1.21 for Windows NT, version 5.5.2448.0, sp2. I checked the link and that file shows it's 6.05.7974. What I don't understand it that it says that it will not install on any machine that has Outlook on itl. I was trying to open a form in Outlook. What am I missing?
