select all the cells in large table (6)

A governmental web site produces statistical compilations that can be a large as 3000 lines long. Is there a better to select the table other than holding down the mouse, and dragging it down for 5 minutes to get to the end of the 3000th line in order to copy the table?

Click at the beginning of the table, then scroll down, and Shift+click at the end.

Depending on where you're copying it to, you might use Excel's "Web Query" feature to import the table. (This assumes that the rows and columns have a nice regular layout; I'm not sure that merged cells would be handled correctly.)
