Re: Subscript out of range (2007)

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

I can import the worksheet that you attached without problems using Access 2002, so apparently there's nothing wrong with the worksheet. Perhaps another Lounger who has Access 2007 can try it too.

    Subscript out of range (2007)

Edited by HansV to provide link to post - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>

I am trying to import an excel 2003 file with 7 columns and 636 rows. I keep getting a Subscript Out of Range Error message from the Import Spreadsheet Wizard. I found <post:=647,941>post 647,941</post:> and tried the fixes listed and the problem still persists. I will attach the excel file for review as was asked in the previous post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Subscript out of range (2007)

I figured out the problem. As you said it wasn't the excel file. I had set a report tied to this table to a specific printer, and that printer was off-line. When I tried to run the report I received a message telling me I had to switch to my default printer. After that I was able to import the file without a problem. Thanks for your quick response.
