Capitalize first letter in cell (XP/2003)

I want the first letter of a text string in a cell to capitalize itself. This happens to the second sentence in the cell, but not the first. Hope you can help. Frank

There is no built-in method to do this that I know of, so you would have to use code, and you would need it in every workbook you wanted this to work for, or you'd have to create an add-in.

Thanks Rory, it is too bad. Something very simple and useful, and done in Word very easily. Oh well.

Word is, after all, a word processor so it assumes everything is a sentence by default. I agree though it would be nice if you could format cells automatically as upper, lower, proper and sentence case. (I just use macros after the fact)
