Message does not close upon send (Outlook 2007)

This is more of an annoyance tha a real problem, but I've noticed since I've been using 2007 that many times, but not all, a message will remain open after it has been sent. The message is not frozen and is fully editable. When I check the sent box, it has gone, but the window remains open. This has resulted in me sending multiple messages in some instances. I want to say that this issue is related to having an attachment on the email, but I cannot be certain at this point.

The only modification that I have in Outlook that I am aware of is that I have planner software from Franklin Covey installed.

    Any thoughts?

When you say you check the sent box and it has gone - do you mean that a copy of the e-mail is in the sent folder? Have you tried disabling or uninstalling the Franklin Covey software?

Have you checked Tools | Options..., Preferences tab, E-mail Options... to see if the check box "Close original message on reply or forward" is ticked?

I have now checked that option and I'll report back after a bit about whether this fixed the issue.
    Thanks,
