New Bathroom

I have just been handed the unenviable job of refurbishing the Log Cabin bathroom. I was hoping to draw it out with CAD software, does anyone know of any reliable, easy to use Millerware i.e.

Nothing too extravagant, I don't want to be a hardcore user

Hi Jezza

For some reasons I cannot log on to the site get the link at the moment but I seem to remember that somebody recommended me to the IKEA site for a free planning download which was very good

I've heard of this one, but not sure how limited the freebie is:
Envisioneer Express

You could also trundle through this list:
alt.comp.freeware - GRAPHICS

all (as in free beer) of course.

Edited by HansV to correct link

Not free but at only £8.50 +VAT it might be worth a go:

I only know of this software because Stuckling 1 wanted to try out 3D Architect by the same company, "I need it for my GCSE engineering". don't think so.

Re: New Bathroom

Not free but part of MS Office. I did complete remodels of my kitchen & bathrooms using Visio. The key is getting the measurements correct for the room as well as the components you well be using. It worked well for me but, then again, I have a reputation for often choosing the most difficult path. It is a curse.

So JB, are you just doing the drawing and planning or are also going to be swinging the hammer as well?

Re: New Bathroom

Hi Jezza

Did you get the bathroom sorted? I received an email from Gizoo / Serif with quite a bit of software on sale but one that might be of interest for your current bathroom redevelopment and possibly for future design is reduced to £6.95, this the link http://www.serif.com/serifExtra/sale.asp?l...=UK&mc=XSALx100 you need to scroll down the page a bit
