    Default 'reply-to' address in Outlook/Exchange (20

Requirement: to be able to send emails from our Exchange Server 2003 on behalf of a small number of specified users, such that the "from" and/or "reply to" email addresses in these emails are their "normal" email addresses, and not those which the Exchange server uses as the default. They will be using Outlook 2003.

Having ignominiously failed to get POP3 accounts (where there is considerably more flexibility about reply-to addresses) to perform this task properly, I am having to try a different approach.

Here I am setting up an Exchange mailbox for each of these users, but wish to set up their "from" and/or "reply to" email addresses on a "by user" basis, and not having to specify it for each email which is sent.

As far as I can see, this can't easily be done, except perhaps by using an Outlook add-on such as Bells and Whistles.

I'm open to all other ideas, particularly those which might be <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>! Thanks.

Without third party software, you have several choices.
1.) change the e-mail address on each e-mail
2.) setup separate accounts for each user in Outlook and be very careful about which account you select as the sending account.
3.) setup a separate profile for each user and then shutdown Outlook and restart with the appropriate profile.

That's deeply depressing, since it seems I cannot do something apparently trivial using either POP3 or Exchange...
