Free Norton Internet Security (Home Premium, SP1)

I just set up a new laptop yesterday and it had a 90 day Norton internet protection with it. For some reason some part of it is not working correctly and it says to uninstall and reinstall. How would I do that if there were no disks included with the computer - wouldn't uninstalling remove it all? Personally I would rather use AVG - does it run well on Vista? I will need something after the 90 days of Norton is up. I have used AVG for years and never had a single problem with any of my computers.

AVG runs just fine. I've been using it for over a year.

    My advice?
Give Norton the heave ho and use either Avast or AVG.

That would be a good move. We are using Avast on a few Vista systems and it is <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> also.

Just remember to get a Firewall installed.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Thanks for the advice from all three of you. I think that Norton is going good-bye-bye and I will use AVG - at least initially, as I am familiar with it. Also have ZA but have not installed it yet. Never did like Norton but it was there so I thought I would give it a try.
