Over the maximum columns (Excel 2003)

I have a program that collects data and dumps it into a designated Excel sheet. There is no option within the program but to dump it into columns. My data points are exceeding the allowable number of columns in Excel and returning an error. Is there something I can do within Excel to remedy this problem?

    Thanks

Does the program create an Excel workbook or does it paste the data into an existing sheet?

It pastes the data into an existing sheet of your choosing.

Any chance you can upgrade to Excel 2007? An Excel 2007 worksheet has 16,384 columns, that is 64 times as many as in Excel 2003!

If that is not possible, there isn't much you can do unless the program you're using is customizable.

Excel 2007 would take care of it. Thanks
