need to link to an spss (2003)

I want to develop a front end access data base that connects directly to a spss file. I do not want to convert the spss file to dbf or other intermediary file. An SPSS file can read mdb files via ODBC, but can mdb read and be linked to the sav format of an SPSS file, if so how? I believe i one did this but I am getting old, and connot remember how.

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

    Google SPSS Data Access Pack
    Download Windows driver from http://www.spss.com/drivers/clientNEW.htm
    Link file via odbc

Thanks, I didn't even know that there was an ODBC driver for SPSS. Could be handy!
