Vista Service Pack 1 Issues (Vista Ultimate)

Has anyone experienced any BSODs after installing and booting Vista w/Service Pack 1?

I kept getting BSODs after 10 mins. or so after install SP1. Unfortunately I totally forgot to write down the exact error code. I susspect it may be a display issue with my video display card, a NVidia GForce 6600. The driver is not latest but the latest certified driver is pre 2008, and cannot find info about incompatibility on NVidia site.

Have reverted to pre SP1 until can find more info.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks gang

Vista Home Premium. SP 1 issue

I did not have a BSOD, but one user's account (full admin rights) couldn't be initialized and Vista began a new TEMP account log-on for that user, yet remembered the user's name. Eventually a windows dialog box informed me that a problem existed and recommended updating the video driver, so I did. This seems to have solved the problem. (Nvidia 8500GT)

I'm running Vista Ultimate with SP1 and have no issues.

Here's the link to get Vista certified driver for your NVidia GForce 6600 display card.
