    removing @adelphia.net (Excel 2003)

I have an Excel document with a large number of email addresses. Over 100 have a domain name adelphia.net. Adelphia has be acquired by Comcast and many have selected another ISPs. I would like to be able to filter out or remove any email address that ends with @adelphia.net, but I have not been able to figure out how to do this.

If the e-mail address is listed as a text string, you should be able to perform a search and replace of the text you would like to replace.

Within the Excel document press the CTRL and letter H keys to bring up the search/replace dialog box. Try searching for *adelphia* and replace with nothing.

    Regards,
    John

You could use Data | Filter | AutoFilter.
Click the dropdown in the relevant column header.
    Select Custom...
Select "ends with", and enter @adelphia.net in the box next to it.
    Then click OK.
    Select the filtered rows.
    Select Edit | Delete
    Then remove the AutoFilter.
