drop down list on form (access 2003)

I have a form where one of the fields is chosen using a drop down list - I want to make sure that whenever an item is chosen from the drop down list that the data associated with that is shown. How do I "connect" the data in the table to stay with that field (when that field is displayed)?

If I understand your question correctly, you should set the Control Source property of the combo box (aka drop down list) to the name of the field in which you want to store the selected value.
