Word failed to start correctly error (2003 SP2)
When working with Word 2003, I am getting an error message "Word failed to start correctly last time. Starting Word in Safe mode will help you correct or isolate a start up problem in order to successfully start the program. Some functionality may be disabled in this mode. Do you want to start Word in Safe Mode?". I have tried answering both Yes and No in the dialog box, but both options then display a dialog box saying that "Word has encountered a problem and needs to close". I have tried to repair and have reinstalled Word, but to no avail. Checking the Microsoft Knowledge Base, it suggests that this problem is caused by McAfee software - but I don't use that and don't have it on my PC. Can anyone help me with this problem please. Any replies will be most gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
