Macro to list word files containing tracked chgs. (MS Word 2003)

    Hello,

I am assembling a folder full of word documents into a PDF, through the Adobe "Create PDF From Multiple Files" option. However, Acrobat will stop and prompt me if a word document contains tracked changes. I would like to run this batch processing job without having to stop and click OK in Acrobat each time. So, my question is - can I create a Macro, that will point to a folder of word documents and then output a list of the documents (e.g. Chapter 101, Chapter 105) that contain tracked changes. This will allow me to straighten out those particular word documents, before I run the batch processin job in Adobe Acrobat. Thanks in advance for your input.

    Regards,

    Jim

HansV and others have posted many macros over the years that will process all documents in a particular folder. To check for tracked changes, you can check the ActiveDocument.Revisions.Count property.
