    FrontPage formatting (2003)

    I am trying to send an email blast and I cannot tranfer my Frontpage document into my Outlook while keeping the formatting. I tried to copy and paste it into the body of the email as well as trying the email webpage feature. What am I doing wrong????

    How is your Outlook set up, as HTML or as Text?

    HTML. Is that the right answer? <img src=/S/crossfingers.gif border=0 alt=crossfingers width=17 height=16>

    Yep, that is good <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    It is I have fallen foul of that before as everything was converted to text only ..grrrr

    Just some thoughts:

    You have shown you have HTML as the format

    1) Tools --> Options --> Mail Format

    2) Then, or message composing format, select HTML

    Can you confirm that you have also check "Use MS Word to edit email messages." (or words to that effect)

    I have both boxes checked that has Word 2003 to 1) edit email messages
    and
    2) read Rich Text email messages

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by jscher2000 on 27-Mar-08 13:30. )</P>For better results, treat your HTML page as Outlook stationery. There's probably a better way, but this should work:

    (1) Move or copy your HTML page and associated supporting file folder(s) here:

    <code>Cocuments and SettingsusernameApplication DataMicrosoftStationery</code>

    (2) Create the message from that page using: Actions > New Message Using > More Stationery

    Does it work?

    Hmmm..that didn't work either. I think I figured out the best way to do it. It may not be the easiest or the fastest but I just copied the FrontPage document into Word and sent it through mail merge. It seemed to have worked without changing the formatting. Whatever works, right? <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>
