    multiple language interface (all)

Anyone have any ideas the simplest way to have the same Access program and based on the login have the commands on the forms etc., show up in different languages. Do you use a table with an id # for each control and label, and then do a dlookup for the caption based on the login, will that use too much resources?
    Hope this is clear

You could set the captions of labels in the On Open event of the form, or you could replace the labels with locked & disabled text boxes that have DLookup expressions as control source.

I haven't actually tested this in Access, but I have done something similar in Excel years ago, and speed was very acceptable, so I assume it'll be OK in Access too.
