Pivot Table- Month Year in order (2003)

    Hello,

I have some data in excel that I need to make into a pivot table. The column that I am having trouble is a concatenation of month and year. In my pivot table I want to have the month year column going left to right as Jan-07,Feb-07,Mar-07 etc. Is there an easy way to do this?

Not sure I understand correctly but either put the item into a column field instead of a row field or drag the header to the right in the table should do what you want.

If I do not understand, could you attach a sample and elaborate?

If it's a text concatenation then it won't automatically sort in order (though you can do it manually). I prefer to use actual dates and format their display as necessary - that way they sort properly. You can also group them in the PT by year and month.
