    EXCEL cell properties

I am working on a percentage type spreadsheet. Can I manipulate a cells properties to change to a specific color if the percentage amount changes? I.E. current cell is set up to formulate a percentage. The color of the cell is green. If the percentage falls below 80% I would like the color to change to yellow.

    Can you please help?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    Yes, that is possible.
    - Select the cell or cells that you want to color depending on the value.
    - Select Format | Conditional Formatting...
    - Let the first dropdown alone (it should say Value Is).
    - Select Less Than from the second dropdown.
    - Enter 80% in the box next to it.
    - Click Format...
    - Activate the Font or Pattern tab, depending on which you want to color.
    - Specify the desired color.
    - OK your way out.

Thank you for the fast help. Worked great. I figured out how to make it change as the percent value changed with different values. You are awesome.
