    timer on a query or form (Access 2003)

    Is there a way to put a run timer on a query or a form to show the elapsed time it took to run the query or open the form? Thanks

    If you run code (for example to run a query or to open another form), you can do something like this:

    Sub MyProc()
    Dim sngTime As Single
    sngTime = Timer
    ' Your code goes here
    ...
    MsgBox "The code took " & (Timer - sngTime) & " seconds"
    End Sub
