Setting a format within an expression (2003 sp3)

I am building an expression =IF(A3>A2,("Gain of " & (A3-A2)),"Loss"), and I want to format (A3-A2) as currency, how can I do that?
    Thanks

You can use the TEXT function for this:

    =IF(A3>A2,"Gain of "&TEXT(A3-A2,"$#,##0.00"),"Loss")

What would I do without my friend from the Netherlands? Works beautifully of course.
    Thanks
