M.U. vs. W.U. (Vista SP1)

I came across the following statement in an article about the release of SP1 for Vista:

Using Microsoft Update, rather than Windows Update, is actually the safest way to get this service pack.

I always use Windows Update on my computer, it's all I have. Can't find Microsoft Update. I know that both exist under Windows XP, but I've never heard of Microsoft Update for Vista. Did I miss something along the way?

    Cheers,
    Regards,
    PaulB

Thanks, Hans, but I'm not sure that addresses the question of whether or not Microsoft Update is a different animal from Windows Update. Going to the site you indicate (Microsoft Update) tells me how to find Windows Update. It also opens Windows Update in a new window. The quote in my initial post seems to imply that the two products are different.

    Cheers,

I think I have the answer. Microsoft Update appears to be Windows Update with the Use Microsoft Update check box ticked. I've been using it this way all along.

    Cheers,
