Move applicatons to another drive (XP SP2)

I'd like to move all my applications and documents from my E: drive to my J: drive. Documents are easy, but is there any utility that can update all the registry and shortcut settings for applications? E: and J: are two partitions on the same physical drive, and I'd like to delete E: to better manage space.

    Much thanks!

I haven't tried it but there is a utility that claims to do this.
There is a free trial or you can buy it for US$15.00.

Check it out at APPLICATION MOVER

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!
