    VLOOKUP Error (MS Excel 2003)

    I am trying to return values in B1:B6 when B8:B28 matches A1:A6. Whether using TRUE or FALSE range_lookup, not sure why it isn't returning the value I want. It doesn't like my col_index_num reference. Thanks for the help.

    The formula in C8 should be


    This formula can be filled down to C28.
    The first argument is the value to look for, i.e. a single value.
    The second argument must be a range that includes both the column in which you want to search and the column from which you want to return a value.

    If you want to use a single formula in C8:C28, it must be an array formula, confirmed with Ctrl+Shift+Enter instead of just Enter. The array formula is
