    Listing Backend Users (2003)

    I have a backend mdb on a server disk folder and frontend mdb on several pc's. If my frontend and another user's frontend are open and I open the immediate window and type "? CurrentUser", I get "Admin" as a result. How can I get the list of who's connected to the backend?

    See LDB Viewer Form on the Access Web.

    Thank you Hans, the LDB Viewer Form does retrieve the users who are currently logged in but before that I have to click OK twice to the following Error message:
    The index isn't included in the interval.

    The error occurs in the apiAllocateAndInitializeSid function, but I have no idea how that works or how to correct it.

    If you comment out the line

    .atLUI(i).strUserName = fGetRemoteLoggedUserID(rs(0))

    in sUseUserRoster, and the line

    .strUserName = fGetRemoteLoggedUserID(.strMachineName)

    in sDisplayUsers, you'll only see the computer names, not the Windows login names, without error messages.

    Thank you Hans <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>, that's what I get, only computer names, no Windows login names, after clicking twice ok to the error message and even without commenting out the lines.

    Yep, I only pointed out how you could avoid the error messages.
