    input form (xp & 2003)

Can I have an input form that will take the data . upon hitting the enter key it will then place in cells in the next row available in the worksheet. If not, then what could be the answer to automatically move to the next right cell upon hitting the enter key until the last cell and then move the cursor down to the next row start postition.

I am attaching a short table to show what input is needed.

    Thank you

    Here are some options:

    1) Click anywhere in the table, and select Data | Form...
Excel will display a form in which you can enter and edit data.
If you click the New button, the data will automatically be added in the first blank row.
An improved version is available for free from John Walkenbach: J-Walk Enhanced Data Form v3.

    2) Select columns A through F.
    Select Format | Cells...
    Activate the Protection tab.
    Clear the Locked check box.
    Click OK.
Select Tools | Protection | Protect Sheet...
    Click OK.
The Tab key will cycle through the unlocked cells in the used area of the sheet.
