Inserting Picture in Form and Report (Access 2003)

I have a requirement to show a member's picture on an already existing form. It is also required to print that same picture on a membership report, alongside other information. The report also already exists.

Could someone please point me in the direction of a sample database that includes both of these functions. I'm pretty good at following examples so I think an example will suffice for now.

    Thanks, in advance.

    Hi there

Have you looked at the Northwind database that is shipped with your installation. You don't mention which version you are using but in 2003 the database can be found at Help --> Sample Databases --> Nortwind sample database.

Open the Employees form and you will see an example, HTH

The best way to handle pictures is to store them as .jpg files outside the database, and to use a text field to store the path and filename of each member's picture in the members table.

You'll find a sample database demonstrating how to display images on forms and reports attached to <post#=296,892>post 296,892</post#>.

Thanks for the replies. I think that the Inventory sample database, pointed to by Hans, will serve as a good example for me.
