    Wrong size font (6.0)

Please help. I have my font set to Arial 8 point when composing a message. However, when composing a new message, the font is larger--about 10 or so, and bolder. The box says arial and 8, but that's wrong. I then need to highlight the entire message, format font to 12, then format again to 8 and all is well. Why is this doing this in the 1st place? Everything is set up in Options correctly, I believe. Thanks for your help.

Does is help if you set the text size for Internet Explorer and Outlook Express to the same setting?
For Internet Explorer, select View | Text Size.
For Outlook Express: select Tools | Options..., activate the Read tab and click Fonts...

The text size setting can be set in the Read tab of Tools | Options, but it affects composing an e-mail too. This works best if the settings in Outlook Express and Internet Explorer are synchronized, since Outlook Express uses Internet Explorer to handle HTML format.
