Strange Error Message (XP Pro SP2)

Got a friend with only two accounts on his PC: his own (with Administrator privileges) and the Guest account. Everything OK on the Admin account. But the Guest account keeps getting a bunch of windows popping up, with RTL in the title and "Unable to start driver for HPZipm12.exe(HPZipm12.exe)" in the window. Printing to an HP MFP works on both accounts. Any ideas about what might be wrong, and how to deal with it?

    From here.....

hpzipm12.exe is loaded by the Hewlett-Packard PSC 2100, 2200, 4100, and 6100 series printer drivers. They are essential for the smooth running of these devices.

Any idea why this error would only happen in one account and not the other?

    The account might be corrupt.

You could have your friend create another subaccount and see if the error comes up on the new account. If not, then they might want to delete the possibly corrupt older account and use the new one.

The Guest account is very limited in what it can do. You may not be able to start a driver with the Guest account. A normal user should not logon to the Guest account. It should only be used for anonymous access to a PC.
