Contacts & address book (Outllok 2003)

This is a new problem. I want to add a new entry to the address book that opens when I click the address book icon. When I click file/new/contact, the form opens and I fill it out as always, but that contact appears only in Contacts and is not shown in the address book that opens when i click on "to" in an email. I realize I can email from Contacts but I want the new entry in the address book so I can add that person to a distribution list. Yes, i can open the distribution list and click "add new" but that opens an abbreviated form that has no space for phone number or other info.

Sorry. I posted this and got too late smart. I closed Outlook and restarted XP and tried again. The new entries now appear in both the address book and Contacts, as I expected them to do.

    No problem. We like 'tough' ones like that. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    Thanks for posting the solution.
