    Aveo camera sti

This webcam used to work, i had not used it for 4 to 5 weks then I get the message "you have no video capture device" when i try to access it. It is an inbuilt webcam on a msi laptop. i run windows xp.

Can someone give me assistance to solve this problem.

I have no experience with this, but I found a suggestion that "to activate the webcam, you should press the P2 button, not P1 button". No idea what it means... <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Have you checked Device Manager to see if there are any yellow question marks? Have you tried forcing XP to detect new hardware?
