    Date Formats (2003)

I have been sent an Excel file and I wish to do DateDif calculations on two columns. However, one column has the dates in the format 12/10/1999 and the other coulmn has the format 12.6.08. How can I change the entire second coulumn to the 12/6/2008 format without doing each cell separately?

If the cells ar text representations:
    Highlight the cells
    Press Ctrl+H
    Find what = .
    Replace with = /
    Click Replace All.

You should now have dates in those cells
